Bengali Kantha News: Paddy is the main food grain of Bangladesh. Aus, aman boro is cultivated rice in our country, but most of the rice is cultivated during the Boro season, and the yield is higher in the Boro season than other seasons. Irrigation and water management are an important issue in rice cultivation. Boro season is dependent on irrigation due to rainy season. Ground water is widely used in our country during the Boro season. Besides, due to the proper management of the amount of water required for rice production, there is a lot of water wastage in excess of this. As a result, the cost of crop production is increasing on one hand and on the other hand, the level of groundwater below the level of the day is going down and the future is facing extreme water crisis and irrigation management. It is very important to use proper management of irrigation water and water saving methods to survive.
