Gunaigacha Union held open budget meeting in Chatmohar


Budget of Tk 1.68 crore announced for the fiscal year 2025-26


A meeting was organized in Gunaigacha Union Parishad of Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna district to announce the open budget for the fiscal year 2025-2026. The meeting held at Gunaigacha UP Bhaban on Monday (19 May 2025) was presided over by Union Parishad Administrator and Chatmohar Upazila ICT Department Assistant Programmer Md. Abdullah Al Noman.


UP Administrative Officer Md. Abdul Quader presented a budget of Tk 1.68 crore 19 thousand 230 in the meeting. The budget highlighted various aspects of the union's developmental activities, social security, infrastructure construction and public service activities.


UP members, officers and employees of the council, local dignitaries and representatives of civil society were present at the budget meeting. Speakers in the discussion called this initiative of formulating an open budget a positive example of transparency and accountability.
